Background: Denis, Ricker & Brown Insurance in Northfield was founded as the Salman Insurance Agency in 1938. Michael Demasi who has been with the firm for twenty-six years manages the agency.
The agency writes all lines of Personal and Commercial Insurance Products. This is one of four Denis, Ricker & Brown offices located in Central and Northeastern Vermont. Denis Ricker & Brown has been affiliated with Hickok & Boardman Inc, the oldest insurance agency in Vermont, since April 3, 2000.

Peter joined Denis, Ricker & Brown, Inc. in October of 1993. He became an owner and was elected Vice President in April of 2000. Peter is a member of the Vermont Chapter of Certified Insurance Councilors (CIC). He graduated from St. Lawrence University with a BA in Economics in 1992. He is a member of the Montpelier Rotary Club. Peter lives in Montpelier with his wife and three children.
