Product Summary
Liability Coverage

If you are involved in an accident, Liability Insurance covers bodily injury and property damage you may cause to other people. This coverage does not cover bodily injury to you or damages to your motorcycle or ATV. Some policies also include guest passenger liability coverage, which provides protection for your passenger if they are injured. Higher liability limits may be available through a Personal Umbrella Policy.

Medical Payments / Guest Passenger Liability

This provides coverage for you and your passenger should you be involved in a motorcycle or ATV accident and found to be at fault.

Uninsured / Under-insured Motorist

This coverage provides protection if you are involved in an accident caused by another driver, and the other driver is either without insurance or has inadequate coverage to pay for damages sustained by you, your passenger, and your motorcycle or ATV. This will also help pay for medical treatment, lost wages, and other damages.

Comprehensive Insurance

This insurance coverage protects your motorcycle or ATV from non-accident related damages including fire, theft, and vandalism. The insurance company will pay for damages after you meet your deductible, and will only cover the book value of your motorcycle or ATV. If you have added any accessories to your ride, you should insure these items under optional coverage.

Collision

Collision Insurance pays for damages to your motorcycle or ATV as a result of an accident or overturn, minus your deductible. Even if the damage is your fault, this coverage will still apply. Collision insurance typically covers the book value of the motorcycle or ATV before the accident occurs.

Optional Coverage

If you have added saddlebags, a sidecar, custom paint, chrome accessories, or upgraded tires and rims, these items may need to be added to your policy. Some companies include a minimal amount of coverage for upgrades, but this may not be enough. Coverage may be included for your helmet and leathers. Trip interruption can also be purchased to help pay expenses if you have had an accident and are unable to continue your vacation. Roadside assistance may also be available if you need a jump start or a tow to a repair shop due to mechanical breakdown.

Motorcycle Safety Tips

Always wear a helmet.
Wear protective gear:  eye protection, jacket, gloves, long pants, and high-top boots or shoes.
Drive defensively, especially riding through intersections or on narrow or steep trails.
Check your mirrors before turning, changing lanes, and stopping.
Avoid riding in your fellow motorists' blind spots.
Wear brightly colored clothing to make yourself more visible.
When riding your ATV, be respectful to all private property owners. They share their land so trail systems can be connected.
